Solid skincare · made in Stockholm

Skincare, minus the water.

Bare makes exactly three things: a cleansing bar, a face bar and a balm. No water in the formula means no preservatives, no plastic bottle, and nothing on your shelf that's mostly filler. Everything else is marketing we chose not to make.

Why solid

Bottled skincare is mostly water.

Look at any ingredient list: aqua comes first, usually at seventy percent. You're paying to ship water in plastic, then paying again for the preservatives that keep that water shelf-stable.

A bar is the same actives without the filler — concentrated, self-preserving, and light enough that a year of skincare posts through your letterbox in a paper box.

The three

The whole catalogue.

Three products, one routine, no line extensions coming. Refills ship in paper, automatically if you like.

01 The Cleansing Bar

120 kr ≈ 60 washes

Face and everywhere else. Cold-processed, unscented, the one we'd save in a fire.

  • Rapeseed, oat, aloe
  • Outlasts three bottles of the liquid kind

02 The Face Bar

180 kr ≈ 3 months

The moisturiser, solid. Warms between your palms, presses into damp skin, done.

  • Shea, squalane, nothing to spill
  • AM, PM, aeroplane-proof
Add the Face Bar

03 The Balm

140 kr the everywhere stick

Lips, cuticles, elbows, the winter patch on your cheek. Lives in every pocket you own.

  • One tin, forty uses
  • The one customers buy in threes
Add the Balm

The maths

The formula

Made like food, honestly.

The bars are cold-processed in small batches south of Stockholm — the same method as good soap for two hundred years, with a formulator who came from the food industry and audits suppliers like it.

Every batch is numbered, cured for six weeks, and tested on staff, friends and one famously sensitive-skinned co-founder. Never on anything with fur.

From the reviews

Unsponsored, verbatim

My bathroom shelf went from eleven bottles to three bars and a tin. My skin didn't notice the downgrade because there wasn't one.
Elin S.Year one, on refills
Flew hand-luggage-only for three weeks. The liquids bag stayed home. This is the entire review and it's a five.
Jonas P.The Face Bar
I bought it for the plastic thing, honestly. I stayed because the cleanser outlasted my scepticism and then two more months.
