Neroli, bergamot, sun-warmed cedar. A lake at first light, flat as glass, with the sun still low enough to lie along it. Orange blossom on cool air over open water. The brightest thing the house makes.
II · The Field
Rose de mai, peony, a breath of dew. A field of pale blooms at first light, still cool, still asleep. Soft, powdered, quietly romantic — the scent of morning before anyone else is awake.
III · The Forest
Cedarwood, moss, vetiver, damp earth. Deep in an old forest where the light falls in green shafts and the ground gives softly underfoot. Grounded, shadowed, unhurried — the darkest and most still of the five.
IV · The Coast
Sea salt, mineral, pale driftwood. A wild northern shore where the waves break on black rock and the spray hangs in the air. Cold, clean, bracing — a scent with weather in it.
V · The Garden
Fig leaf, green sap, warm stone. A walled garden in the south at midday, the fig tree throwing shade, the wall holding the heat. Green and milky and calm — the most lived-in of the collection.
The Maison
Every Sillage begins somewhere real — a grove, a field, a shore. Our perfumers spend a season in each before a single note is drawn. What you wear is not an idea of nature; it is a specific morning, a specific light, kept.
The House
The collection is discovered by appointment at the Maison, or wherever fine perfume is kept. Write to us and we will arrange it.
